What is Valentines Day?( ♥Alyssa Mae♥)

Valentine's Day is an annual holiday held on February 14 celebrating love and affection between intimate companions. It is traditionally a day on which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines").

Modern Valentine's Day symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid. Since the 19th century, handwritten valentines have largely given way to mass-produced greeting cards.

hai..good morning..huu..Valentines Day is coming.. Yeahh.. but! there's a BIG BIG BUT! Commonly here in Philippines,Filipinos have a date together with their boyfriend/girlfriend or their husband or wife in the Valentines Day and they celebrate it together. Sad to say, I don't have a date with special someone on Sunday(February 14,2010) but I am so sure that I have a date together with my family. We will celebrate together in ways of attending the mass and hang-out together with them. I hope this coming Valentines Day will be heart full day to all of us. See yah.:)
